Tour Planning

As some of you know, I like to plan my holidays at least 12 months in advance, pay for them early so I can get the $$ discounts (interest rates don't pay more than the discounts at the present time) and then I start researching the cities, in case there is something inn particular that I really want to see, otherwise, I just go with the tour flow. I also usually travel with Insight Vacations on my European coach tours and this year is no different.

In fact, this year I am doing 2 tours.  The first one is their "Country Roads of Belgium, Luxembourg and The Netherlands"

and then I'm doing the Insight Forum members tour, which is named "The Mystical Heart of Europe".

I have 4 nights between finishing the 1st tour and starting the 2nd, so I'm flying to Budapest from Amsterdam on the 6th September, to spend the time there. I spent a week in Amsterdam back in 2002, so don't need to spend extra time there, plus Bill & I had a day there in 2015, as our river cruise ended in Amsterdam.
I have visited Budapest on 3 previous tours but have only spent an extra day there once before, so I'm looking forward to checking out more of this beautiful city.
